At Leaping Frogs Swim School, we offer a fun, supportive environment where kids can develop strong swimming skills through technique-focused lessons at every level. Our term-based swim school runs weekly during each school term. We also offer special holiday lessons (Monday–Friday) depending on staff availability.

Private lessons (15 minutes) are available by appointment for swimmers who may benefit from individual attention, such as those with higher needs or complex medical or mobility requirements.

How much do swim school lessons cost?

Leisure Pool (25-minute group lessons) – $100 per term (based on a 10-week school term)
Main Pool (30-minute group lessons) – $105 per term (10-week term)
Stingray Squad (60-minute group lessons) – $115 per term (10-week term)
Private 15-minute one-on-one lessons – $215 per term (10-week term)

Please note: Private lessons are limited and by appointment only.

When are swim lessons held?

Lesson days and times vary each term based on staff availability. Generally, we offer:

After-school lessons from 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday
Daytime sessions from 10:00am, typically Tuesday and Thursday (subject to change)
Holiday block lessons, Monday–Friday, during selected school holidays

How do I book private swimming lessons?

Due to limited availability, private lessons are prioritised for swimmers who are unable to take part in group classes, including those with higher needs, medical conditions, or mobility challenges.

Do I have to be in the water with my child?

We offer two levels of parent-and-child classes. In these lessons:

One caregiver (16 years or older) is required in the water with each child
If you have twins, each child must have their own caregiver for safety

For Tadpole level and above, caregivers are not required in the water. However active supervision rules apply.

Children under 8 must be actively supervised by a caregiver (16+) at all times
Children under 5 must be in the same body of water/pool as the child at all times

Active supervision means being able to provide immediate assistance if needed.

Parents/caregivers must collect children under 8 directly from the instructor at the end of the lesson.
