Alcohol Licence Applications

The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 requires all alcohol licence applications to be publicly notified. This applies to applications for a new On Licence, Off Licence or Club Licence, and applications to renew existing licences.

The Gore District Licensing Committee places all public notices exclusively on this page.

Our current applications are:

Gore Town & Country Club Inc

The Gore Town & Country Club Inc has applied to the District Licensing Committee to renew an off licence of the premises at 2 Bury Street, Gore.

The general nature of the business under the licence is a club.

The days and hours it's intended to sell alcohol are:

  • Monday to Sunday from 9:00am to 11:00pm

Any objections to this application must be received by 19 August.

Gore Bowling Club

The Gore Bowling Club has applied to the District Licensing Committee to renew a club licence of the premises at 22B Ardwick Street, Gore.

The general nature of the business under the licence is a bowling club.

The days and hours it's intended to sell alcohol are:

  • Sunday to Thursday 8:00am to 10:00pm
  • Friday and Saturday 8:00am to 12:00am the following day

Any objections to this application must be received by 24 July.

Mataura Licensing Trust - Liquorland

The Mataura Licensing Trust has applied to the District Licensing Committee to renew an off licence for Liquorland, at 25 Traford Street, Gore.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is a bottle store.

The days and hours during it is intended to sell alcohol are:

Monday to Sunday from 7:00am to 10:00pm

Any objections must be received by 1 August.
