Water Pipeline Installation on Maitland Street

From Monday 28 July, work will begin to install new water pipelines along Maitland Street into the East Gore Water Treatment Plant. Work will take place daily from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is expected to continue until the end of November.
Construction will start at the Wentworth Street water treatment plant end of Maitland Street and move toward the river. Temporary road closures will be in place during this time.
This project is required by the drinking water regulator and will enable treated water to be delivered to West Gore and complete the connections to the under river pipeline.
Upcoming Closure:
- Wentworth Street will be closed from Monday 11 August until Friday 15 August.
