Road closures

The following sections of roads in the Gore District are closed due to flooding; MacGibbon Rd between SH1 and Millane Rd, Otama Rd between Knapdale Rd/North Chatton Rd (Chatton Corner) and Jaffray Rd, Otama Rd between McBain Rd and Otama Valley Rd, Wilson Rd between Otamita Rd and Otama Rd. These should reopen today. The following roads are affected but passable with care; Waikaka, Glenkenich, Waiarikiki, Clinker Hill, Craigie, Knapdale, Turnbull roads, Ontario St, River Rd, River St, Gore.
