Icy conditions

Roads throughout the Gore District are affected by ice this morning, including both urban and rural roads, and grit is being spread on roads including Crawford Rd and Diamond Peak Rd in the Kaiwera area; Reaby Rd and Waimumu Rd in the Waimumu area; East Chatton Rd and Pyramid Bridge in the Waikaka area; Joseph St and Johnson Street in Gore. Extra care should be taken by road users including pedestrians on all roads this morning. Please keep your speed down and increase your following distance.
