The Community Connections Centre is an initiative of the Community Networking Trust. It houses various community agencies and provides resources, information and facilities for community groups. The centre is located on the corner of SH1 and Charlton Road.

The Mataura Local Directory provides a range of contact information for various services, churches, schools, local businesses, social clubs and organisations and places to dine locally.

The Family Services Directory is a searchable online database. It lists information about family support organisations and the services/programmes they offer to support New Zealand families. The purpose of the Family Services Directory is to connect people with providers who can help them to cope with common issues and problems.
The Southland Youth Directory provides information about services available to Young People in Southland. It was put together in 2000 after there was a recognised problem for young people in the Southland community regarding having the information about services and supports relevant to them available.
