Mataura Water Restrictions

Level 3 water restrictions for Mataura are in place, effective immediately.

Level 3 restrictions include:

• Residents must use a handheld hose or bucket to water vegetable and flower gardens, trees or shrubs either between 7am to 9am or 7pm to 9pm.
• Residents must use a bucket to clean vehicles, cleaning the windows, mirrors, lights and registration plates only.
• There’s a ban on watering grass areas
