Gore District Council Rates Information

The Council charges rates on properties using a capital value system. The rating year runs from 1 July to 30 June. The dates of instalments are:

Instalment 1	Period Covered: 1 July to 30 Sept	Last Friday in August
Instalment 2	Period Covered: 1 Oct to 31 Dec	Last Friday in November
Instalment 3	Period Covered: 1 Jan to 31 Mar	Last Friday in February
Instalment 4	Period Covered: 1 Apr to 30 June	Last Friday in May

If you have difficulty paying quarterly rates invoices, the Council is happy to accept monthly or other regular payments. Rates payments can be made by cash, cheque, direct debit, automatic payments (weekly, fortnightly or monthly), EFTPOS (no credit cards), telebanking, internet banking or online with the use of a credit card.
