Gore is officially New Zealand’s southernmost Motorhome Friendly Town.
There are five locations for overnight camping in and around Gore, four dump stations and four locations with laundry facilities available.
To make it easy to get into town, there are also two sites for daytime parking within five minutes walk of the town centre.

Standalone dump station for travellers passing through available in Richmond Street (northern heavy traffic bypass, adjacent to the children’s cycle park). This is recommended for use by motorhomes with tanks on the left hand side of their vehicle only.
