Road Stopping at Otamita

The Gore District Council proposes to stop portions of a legal road located near the Mataura River, at Otamita. There are five sections affected.

Sections 1 to 3 are unformed and not used for public access. They are not required for vehicle or pedestrian access purposes in the foreseeable future and it is intended to sell them to the adjoining landowners.

Sections 4 and 5 are located within the physical but not legal bed of the Mataura River. It is intended to set aside these areas as river bed.
