Gore District Council Public Library Services
Listed below are a variety of services the District Public Libraries are able to offer.
Interloans:
We can borrow books from another library on your behalf. There is a $5 charge for this service.
Reserves:
Items can be reserved and delivered to Gore or Mataura Library for collection.
Housebound Service:
Books, magazines and talking books can be delivered to resthomes and housebound people.
Internet:
Free internet and wireless access, limit of 30 minutes per person per day. Wireless access is unlimited.
Photocopying:
Self service coin operated photocopier available. This is a charged service.
Out of district members:
Free library membership for residents of Gore, Southland, Invercargill and Clutha Districts.
Children's programmes:
Children's programmes, Wriggle & Rhyme (under 2s) and Toddler Time (2 - 5 year olds) are advertised each term. Contact us for details.
