Gore District Council Rates Information
The Council charges rates on properties using a capital value system. The rating year runs from 1 July to 30 June. The dates of instalments are:
| Instalment 1 | Period Covered: 1 July to 30 Sept | Final Payment due: 27 August 2010 |
| Instalment 2 | Period Covered: 1 Oct to 31 Dec | Final Payment due: 26 November 2010 |
| Instalment 3 | Period Covered: 1 Jan to 31 Mar | Final Payment due: 25 February 2011 |
| Instalment 4 | Period Covered: 1 Apr to 30 June | Final Payment due: 27 May 2011 |
If you have difficulty paying quarterly rates invoices, the Council is happy to accept monthly or other regular payments. Rates payments can be made by cash, cheque, direct debit, automatic payments (weekly, fortnightly or monthly), EFTPOS (no credit cards), telebanking, internet banking or on-line with the use of a credit card.
